ELEPHANT TRAVELLING
We provide the playground your experience the fun. This is fantastic experience that you can enjoy together with your family. Explore your sight on the back big tame animal. Feel the fresh air and catch a very natural life while walking along the side of wide greenery rice field, calm rivers and passing through the javanese traditional village. During 2.5 hours on the elephant you will have an exciting and unforgettable experience. Many routes are available and you are pleased to join for having fun:

Route I (Nglipoh Village, 2.5 hours, 7 km)

Starting from Manohara Hotel, the elephant will take you to Sabrang Rowo Village and then Bumi Segoro Village. You will ride through green rice field to Tanjung Sari Village, moving slowly until Nglipoh Village, a village known for its earthenware craft industry. Kali Tengah traditional market will be the next itinerary, followed by Nampan Village. From Perpil Village until Ngaron Village, the scenery is dominated by the rice field.

Route II (Pawon Temple, 2.5 hours, 6 km)

The tour is starting from by the elephant Manohara Hotel -- which is situated just 200 meters from Borobudur Temple. The elephant will slowly walk toward Sabrang Rowo Village and Bumi Segoro Village. You will see beautiful scenery along the way with Borobudur Temple on left side and Manoreh Hill on the right side. You will enjoy the scenery until Ngaron Village and then about 10 minutes later, we will arrive at Sileng River where the elephants will take you down to the water and walk along the river until Jowahan Village.

Next to Jowahan Village is another small Javanese village called Tingal, where coconut trees and some other cultivated plants can be seen. The elephant safari is continued to Pawon Temple at Brojonalan Village. Here the elephants will take a rest for a while, the tour guide will let you take pictures and coconut water will be served all at once.

The elephant safari will draw to a close. The elephants walk toward Borobudur Temple and will reach the temple from the west side. When you arrive at Manohara Hotel, the "Safari Gajah" or elephant safari ends.

Route III (Borobudur Temple Park, 1.5 hour, 2 km, day & night)

From cage, the elephant will walk clock-wise around Borobudur Temple foot Then the elephant will climb up Dagi Hill then back to Manohara.
